Post consistently<\/h3>\n<p>Being consistent in the quality and types of posts you create can help people know what kinds of messages to expect from you and how they tie into your business.<br \/>\nA content calendar can help you plan ahead and make sure posts use a similar message each time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You can:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Schedule posts for when most of your audience is online<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Highlight days for major business events or product news<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Create targeted messages that tell your story<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>2. Target your posts<\/h3>\n<p>Depending on your goals, you may want to post something that will interest people in specific ages, genders or more.<br \/>\n<strong>Here&#8217;s the easiest way to control who sees a post:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0 At the top of your Page click Settings, then click <em>Audience Optimization for Posts<\/em> and check the box<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0 Create a new post on your Page<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 When done, select the target icon in the bottom left corner and click\u00a0<em>Audience Optimization<\/em><\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0 Target based on gender, interests, age, location and more. As you refine your targeting, you&#8217;ll see how many people your post could potentially reach.<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0 Click Post<\/p>\n<p><strong>Example:<\/strong> Sophia Forero, a jewelry eCommerce business, targets posts by gender and education and tests different geographic regions based on where her fans are most engaged.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>3. Keep post images and text fresh<\/h3>\n<p>The more recent your posts, the more interesting people will find them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To keep your posts interesting:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Post timely content. For example, if an important holiday has just passed, it\u2019s time to post about the next holiday or event.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Test which posts work best and review their performance.
